Empowering Independence Through Affordable Assistive Technology
AALAM Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2026 by Aghil Prakash M and Ashok Kumar Dillibabu with a singular mission: to ensure that no individual is denied mobility, independence, dignity, or quality healthcare because of disability, financial hardship, conflict, or geographical barriers.
We work alongside persons with disabilities, healthcare professionals, engineers, researchers, rehabilitation specialists, humanitarian organizations, governments, and industry partners to create practical solutions that improve lives.
Our work spans humanitarian aid, assistive technology development, clinical support programs, policy advocacy, rehabilitation initiatives, research, and inclusive innovation.
Incorporation status:
Registration has been completed for both Aalam Foundation as a Section 8 company (parent organization) and Aalam Inclusive Technologies Pvt Ltd as the child company, focused on the design, development, and distribution of affordable assistive devices for persons with disabilities.

OUR Mission
Aalam Foundation funds the design and manufacture of affordable assistive devices using locally available materials to enhance accessibility. By collaborating with rehabilitation experts, hospitals, and NGOs, Aalam Inclusive Technologies Pvt Ltd (the child company) ensures user-centric innovation. It also promotes social inclusion and awareness while building a sustainable distribution network to reach both rural and urban communities.
Our Story
AALAM Foundation was established in 2026 with a vision of creating a world where disability never becomes a barrier to living a life of dignity, independence, and opportunity.
The organization was founded by engineer Aghil Prakash M and disability advocate Ashok Kumar Dillibabu, a spinal cord injury survivor and accessibility professional. Their shared experiences highlighted a critical reality: millions of people living with disabilities continue to face barriers in accessing mobility aids, healthcare services, rehabilitation support, and affordable assistive technologies.
Recognizing that charity alone cannot solve these challenges, the founders envisioned a sustainable ecosystem that combines humanitarian action, research, innovation, and social entrepreneurship.
Today, AALAM Foundation supports individuals with physical disabilities through healthcare initiatives, assistive technology access, rehabilitation programs, policy advocacy, humanitarian response efforts, and research-driven innovation.
